Kobe Bryant’s Widow Vanessa Remembers Their Late Daughter Gianna, ‘Lucky To Have Woken Up To Your Smile For 13Yrs’
Days after the tragic helicopter crash that took away Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant’s precious lives, Gigi’s mommy Vanessa has penned a heartbreaking message for her daughter on her Insta feed, sharing her grief with the world.
Vanessa Bryant is in a place no one should have to be. The lady will probably never come to terms with the tragic and unfortunate death of her husband, NBA legend, Kobe Bryant and their teen daughter, Gianna or Gigi. She penned a heartbreaking message for her daughter on her Insta feed, sharing her grief with the world. Gianna and her star dad passed away in a helicopter crash on Jan 26, 2020.
Vanessa’s message for her darling daughter read, “My Gianna. God I miss you. I’ve been so lucky to have woken up to see your gorgeous face and amazing smile for 13 years. Wish it would’ve been until my last breath. Mommy loves you to the moon and back. Infinity plus 1. #2 #Mambacita #GigiBryant.” Gianna and her dad were headed for a basketball tournament when their helicopter crashed due to severe fog. Kobe had earlier revealed that his daughter, Gianna, was better at the sport than he was at her age.
Even as friends, family and fans of the legend around the world pay tribute to the late Kobe Bryant, Vanessa is left with a gaping hole in her heart. The loss she has suffered is unparalleled.
Speaking about it for the first time ever, she wrote, “My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them. We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.”
